Get Current Dynamic IP Address Remotely

My internet provider gives me external ip address, so I can use Remote Desktop to connect to my home computer from outside. But every 4 hours my ip address is being changed, so every time I must know the new ip address. So I've written a little script, which every minute gets the new ip address and writes it in a text file, which is located in Dropbox folder. Here is my script:

:START
netsh interface ip show config > "C:\Users\user\Dropbox\ip.txt"
PING 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 60000 >NUL
GOTO START

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Copy this text to a text file and rename to ip.bat (Attention: file extension must be .bat), then put the shortcut of this file to a Startup folder (e.g. C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup)
2. Change the path in line 2 to your Dropbox, Google Drive or other folder which is synchronizing automatically and is available from internet.
3. You can set that shortcut to start minimized, if you wish...
4. If you use dropbox, you can get the link to ip.txt file and bookmark it in your browser for easy access...

Emoji Keyboard in iOS 5

For those who likes to chat in iPhone, iPod or iPad and have iOS 5, Apple has keyboard of emoticons. Maybe somebody uses third party app for this, but in iOS 5 there is a native support of emoticons.
It's simple: go to
Settings=>General=>Keyboard=>International Keyboards=>Add New Keyboard=>Emoji
And you'll have new keyboard layout!

Windows 8 Task Manager

Hello All,
Today I wanna tell you about Windows 8. Especially this post is about new Task Manager on Windows 8 Customer Preview. When you open new Task Manager, at first you see the very basic things - list of open apps and the button to close them.
Windows 8 Task Manager
Windows 8 Task Manager Basic View
But when you click on "More details", a lot of new things appear! First tab shows Processes in groups - Apps, Background Processes and Windows Processes. Besides, processes are also grouped by application. For example all Google Chrome processes now are in one group and it's very comfortable. For each process you can see CPU, Memory, Disk and Network usage and total on the top.

The next great thing is newly designed Performance tab, which shows diagrams by CPU, Memory, Disk Usage and Ethernet. Also it shows some additional information about your devices.

New Metro style applications in Windows 8 can show updates and notifications on tiles, even if you haven't opened them. App history tab shows resource usage for these applications. Tiles are something like Notification Center on iOS, but more sophisticated...

At last there is a simple way to enable or disable startup applications and it's great!

Users Tab now shows opened processes by each user and total resource usage.

Details tab is added, which shows processes like in windows 7 Task Manager.

And there's also Services tab as usual.

So I can say that new Task Manager on Windows 8 Customer Preview is very comfortable than on older versions. At last Startup application management is added, also process information is more detailed and organized in groups. And resource usage monitoring is more attractive.
Thank you for reading. Hope you've liked :)

Nosferatu - Run from the Sun for iOS

Today I want to tell you about another iOS game, which becomes one of my favorites. Nosferatu is released on March 01 and is available on iTunes for free for a limited time. If you liked Temple Run, you will like this also.
It's very easy to control. The atmosphere of the game takes you to an old German night town of vampires. Great music and graphics. Game Center is also available. Like in Temple Run you collect coins and buy extra features. Also you can do in app purchase and buy coins. Here are some screenshots from the game.
